We are a Yorkshire based lighting, dance floor and photo booth hire company which is owned and operated by Matt Butcher.
Décor Event Equipment Hire was formed from the back of the successful “Wedding Venue Lighting”, a wedding hire company. Matt has successfully ran Wedding Venue Lighting since 1997, over the years he has gained a large amount of experience in supplying décor lighting and dance floors for not only weddings but corporate parties and events.
At Décor Event Equipment hire our aim is to provide the same high standards and services to businesses and private clients as we have done for years at Wedding Venue Lighting.
We hold several regional and national wedding industry awards and are now proud to have branched out into the corporate market, offering clients a comprehensive package.
We work with all of our clients to ensure all elements of an event complement each other. We cater for corporate dinners, weddings, award ceremonies, office parties, school proms and Christmas parties.
All of our equipment carries a P.A.T. certificate and is tested annually to ensure it is safe to use and that it meets the required standards. Our staff are fully trained for working at heights and plasma trained for scaffolding towers. We carry a full £10 million public liability insurance and are members of the federation of small businesses.
Our clients are as diverse as our skills, including Irwin Mitchel, The Railway Museum and Watson Batty Architects, to name a few. Whatever look or style you wish to achieve, our team will work with you to turn your vision into a reality.
